Cabanas Copal EXISTS

Due to the concern of many of you about the reduction of Cabañas Copal and in addition to the uncertain comments in some blogs, we would like to inform the real situation at our resort.

Copal´s land lease came to an end and we didn´t have the possibility to renew it, so we had to restructure Copal. We reduce our facilites from 47 cabañas to 8.

That doesn´t mean there is no Copal!!!. Now more than ever we, all Ecotulum staff have the strength and power to work in this magical place. COPAL EXISTS!!!

Our MayaSpa still lives! some treatments cabins were relocated as well as the temazcal, we have new treatments and therapies and yoga classes every day.

Copal remain with a small portion of beach, therefore we recommend our guests to enjoy the beach at Azulik just a few yards from Copal, there we have chairs & papalas umbrella type. You can use the towels at your cabaña and if you need more you can ask for them at Azuliks front desk.

Regarding the CO policy, it is allowed inside our premises in Cabañas Copal and Azulik. Nudism is prohibited in Mexico’s Federal Zones, including the beaches. The practice of nudism in the beach may cause inconveniences with the authorities. Even though many of the beaches in Tulum are CO, the federal authority can take actions, such as fines, towards those that are nude.

We are working hard to continue to be the best choice for a relaxing and rustic holidays in the Caribbean. With the land that we still have, we have the commitment to improve our service. Our goal is to provide you a personalized attention and to take care more thoroughly of details.
